We are currently hiring PhDs and PhD candidates in Ohio and Michigan. Please contact us at info@edithacademy.com if you are interested in teaching a class with us, and we will get back to you with information on our application process.
We provide training on principles of science outreach, course design, and teaching for a senior population.
Time commitment: We work with your schedule. You may choose to work as few hours as two hours every other week, or you may instruct up to four courses per week depending on availability.
Teaching with us provides an opportunity to:
Develop skills in presenting research to non-peers
Gain additional experience in public speaking
Try out different lecture formats
Create an inclusive environment for senior learning
